For most modern petrol and diesel vehicles driven under typical German road conditions, we recommend an oil change every 10,000 to 15,000 kilometres or once per year — whichever comes first. Vehicles used frequently for short city trips, towing, or high-mileage driving may benefit from shorter intervals. When you book with us, we'll advise based on your specific make, model, and driving pattern.

What type of engine oil does PriwoLabs use, and can I request a specific grade?

We stock a range of fully synthetic, semi-synthetic, and mineral oils from reputable European suppliers, all meeting current ACEA and manufacturer approval standards. Yes, you can absolutely request a specific grade — if your vehicle's handbook specifies a particular viscosity or approval code, we'll match it exactly. We do not substitute with whatever happens to be convenient.

Does the oil change service at PriwoLabs include a filter replacement?

Every oil change we perform includes a new OEM-compatible oil filter as standard — we do not treat this as an optional add-on. A worn filter left in place defeats the purpose of fresh oil entirely. We also carry out a basic fluid and visual check during every oil service so nothing obvious gets missed while we already have the car in the workshop.

What does PriwoLabs actually check during a brake inspection?

Our brake inspection covers brake pad thickness on all four corners, disc condition including surface scoring and lateral runout, brake fluid quality tested with a moisture meter, caliper movement and sealing, and handbrake operation. We document findings clearly and explain what's urgent versus what can be monitored — so you make an informed decision, not a pressured one.
